Many of our assignments have been for large estates and have required specialized appraisals to meet the needs of the client. We work with all trust departments in the State of West Virginia and continually perform these appraisal assignments at all price levels. Since the early 90's, we have been actively involved in numerous right of way projects for the State of West Virginia, Department of Transportation, Division of Highways and are currently contracted for services on the King Coal Highway, the Coal Fields Expressway, the East Beckley, Route 19 By Pass and presently we have begun work on Phase 2 of the new Interstate U.S. Route 35 in Putnam County U. S. Route 35 . We are continually working with them on various projects and services. Since 1997, we have been under contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to perform contracted appraisal services for the condemnation appraisals of over a hundred properties in Lower Belle, West Virginia for the Marmet Lock Replacement Project in Belle, West Virginia. This project is still presently active and we will continue to be actively involved in the work. We also represent property owners in their behalf during eminant domain proceedings and can provide excellent counseling during the process and explain rights and benefits to the property owner.
