How Does Discount Brokerage Work?

Discount Brokerage allows the seller to market their property and have the ability to save money by potentially selling the property themselves and saving additional sales commission fees on the sale of their property while having the advantage of utilizing area Realtors or licensed sales agents and their services.

The property owner choses to handle all of the showings and open houses and should the property enter contract (equitable title) without any further assistance or showings from anyone else, the seller will save the sales commission fee of 3%. Charleston Online Realty will handle all of their further closing details for the flat 3% listing fee. The seller must agree that if another agency would show and sell this property, the seller will pay an additional sales commission of 3% to the selling agency, for a total sales commission of 6%. The total sales commission payable on any transaction would not exceed 6% of the total purchase price. Any area Realtor or licensed sales agents are encouraged to participate in the sale of your property by this method without having to pay full commission rates which have at times been as high as ten percent on some properties.

This database is the only one of its kind in the area and is visited by thousands of people every day. Your home will be easily accessed and seen by everyone on the Internet. We provide yard signs, lock boxes (if requested) and directional signs for your property as well.
